Jesus Is The Gospel And He Is About To Come Ready Or Not!!

Posted on: No Comments

He is the First and Last,
The Beginning and the End!

He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be …
unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!

He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can’t understand him,
The armies can’t defeat Him,
The schools can’t explain Him, and The leaders can’t ignore Him.
Herod couldn’t kill Him, The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him,  and The people couldn’t hold Him!
Nero couldn’t crush Him, Hitler couldn’t silence Him,
The New Age can’t replace Him, and “Oprah” can’t explain Him away!

He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.

His ways are right,
His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life!

I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.

I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
the power of the powerful,
the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers, and is to come. And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.

His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
never forsake me,
never mislead me,
never forget me,
never overlook me and
never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!

When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!

He is everything for everybody everywhere, every time, and every way.

He is God, He is faithful. I am His, and He is mine!

My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you’re wondering why I feel so secure, understand this…

He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side,
and that means all is well with my soul.

Everyday is a blessing for God Is! And Jesus Is About To Come!!!

“Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” Mark 2:28

Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
“ If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the LORD honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the LORD;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 58:12-14.

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.  For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:

“ So I swore in My wrath,

‘ They shall not enter My rest,’”
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.  For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works” Hebrews 4: 1-4

THE GARDEN TOMB. “There’s a certain peace that comes over you when you walk by this open door. The tomb is empty! I know! I was there”!                  Charles H. Mills

This Picture Story was inspired by an actual scene that is located about 70 miles from Amarillo outside of the town of Groom Texas! These are the pictures of actual sculptures of The Crucifixion of Jesus Your Savior and Mine! A gentleman did all the sculptures from his heart as a donation! Quite incredible to say the least!! Someone else then donated the land and now all can enjoy the closing scenes of Our Savior’s life.
Someone once said, “It would be well to spend a thoughtful hour each day thinking about The Life of Christ and especially the closing scenes”!

The Apostle Paul says “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified”. 1Corinthians 2:2.
And again,” If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.  Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.  Colossians 3:1-4.

Take a moment now and think about what Jesus has done for you personally!

In Chemistry, He turned water into wine.

In Biology, He was born without the normal conception.

In Physics, He disproved the law of gravity when He ascended into Heaven.

In Economics, He disproved the law of diminishing returns by feeding 5000 men with two fishes and five loaves of bread.

In Medicine, He cured the sick and the blind without administering a single dose of drugs.

In history, He is the beginning and the end.

In government, He said that He shall be called wonderful counselor, prince of peace.

In religion, He said no one comes to The Father except through Him.

So who is He?

Join me and let’s celebrate Jesus!!

He Alone Is Worthy!

And He Died To Save Just You!!

Praise God that we don’t have to worry about saving ourselves!!

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:8-11.

He will save you completely!

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21.

He Longs To Save You!!

So what must I do to be saved?

Believe In Jesus Completely!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17.

We have the “assurance” of salvation when we “trust” Jesus with our lives, that’s it!!

Once we trust Jesus, He, our great Heavenly Physician, will perfectly heal and restore us, thus our assurance is in Jesus, not in ourselves or our future. 1John 5:11-13.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3.

When we “know” God as Jesus revealed Him to be and trust Him, then we have confidence, faith, or trust in Jesus’ ability to “save” (salvage) us! Our assurance or confidence is in our Savior (just like the thief on the Cross) not in a legal payment.

Praise God that He loves us with an everlasting love!! Jeremiah 31:3.

Have You Personally Experienced The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit?

The following post by: Pastor Dennis Smith, “Holy Spirit Ministries”

The concept of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is that there are two works of the Spirit: one is to lead us to accept Christ and be baptized; the second is to fill us so we can truly live the Christian life and do the works of God. Jesus is our model or example in all things. He was “born” of the Spirit, led by the Spirit from childhood into manhood, and baptized. Soon after this water baptism, He was baptized with the Holy Spirit, which He had prayed for at the time of His water baptism. After the infilling of the Spirit, He was prepared to go forth with power to do battle with Satan as never before (the wilderness temptations). He was empowered to preach and teach the kingdom of God, carry on a ministry of healing, and cast out devils.

Jesus said all who believe would do even greater works than He. When the believer receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, he/she is empowered to do the same works as Christ because the same Spirit that filled Christ has filled him. Before experiencing this Spirit infilling, God is with the believer because He called him to accept Christ and led him to be baptized. However, he will not have the fullness of the Spirit’s power within him until he receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That is why Jesus told the disciples to wait for the outpouring baptism of the Spirit on the day of Pentecost before they began their ministry for Him.

Not everyone was present at Pentecost. The book of Acts indicates that God continued to baptize the believer(s) with the Holy Spirit after the day of Pentecost. One way of doing this was by prayer and the laying on of hands (Acts 8:12-17; 19:1-6). This is the model I have followed. However, the laying on of hands is not always necessary. One can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit by earnestly committing his life to God, and by claiming in prayer His promise to give the Spirit in fullness.

Jacob’s Trouble And Other End Time Issues

Posted on: 4 Comments

The Coast of Lebanon. Photography  Courtesy Charles H. Mills.

The following is a brief review of our Gospel Fellowship Group discussion on April 9, 2011.

Listen To A Moving Music Video At The End Of This Post!

1. What is The Great Time of Trouble of Daniel 12:1?

The Prophet Daniel foretells a final time of terrible trouble “such as never was since there was a nation”. Daniel 12: 1. What is this time of trouble and why does Michael stand up?

First, God is putting an end to the great anti-God. See Daniel 11:45.

Second, this great time of trouble occurs at the very end of the time of the end. See Daniel 11:40-45.

Third, this end crisis is one of great distress like never before.

Fourth, at this time Michael will stand up to deliver His people from the terrible distress.

Deliverance is the Second Coming of Jesus!

So Michael standing up is all about the final deliverance of God’s Children!! He is coming to take us home!! Sin and Suffering is over!! Praise God!!

Even though we will not know the exact time of this event ( Matthew 24:36) Jesus says when you see things, such as mentioned in Matthew 24 and Luke 21, we are to lift up our heads because redemption draws near. Luke 21:28. In other words the coming of Jesus is about to occur. In Matthew 24:29-31, Jesus describes a cosmic explosion and then immediately He appears. Similar I suppose to a brown out.  One moment everything is fine and the next moment no electricity. I am surprised every time  that occurs. And it will be just like that when Jesus appears second time. SUDDEN TOTAL SURPRISE! Matthew 24:42-44. Everyone will see Him too! Acts 1:9-11, Revelation 1:7

2. What is Jacob’s Trouble in Jeremiah 30:7?

Jeremiah describes this same great time of distress, in Daniel 12:1, as Jacob’s trouble. In Jeremiah 30:7, the phase “that day is great and there is none like it”, is similar language as found in Daniel 12:1. Jesus basically used the same vernacular of Daniel in Matthew 24:21. Again in Revelation 13:15-17  a great time of distress is described for God’s people who are facing death. Genesis 32:22-30 describes the story of Jacob who was confronting death from his brother Esau. The night before the two brothers were to meet, Jacob wrestled all night with a Man who turned out to be Jesus. Jacob now knowing it was Jesus refused to let Him go until He blessed him. Jeremiah borrows Jacob’s experience of facing death to describe the same trouble God’ children will face just before Jesus comes the second time. He labels it, Jacob’s trouble. Jeremiah 30:7. This great distress is without parallel but so is God’s power to deliver. (Compare with Exodus 3:7-10). No matter how awful the distress, Jesus will never leave or forsake us. Deuteronomy 31:6,8,  Hebrews 7:25, Hebrews 13:5,  Romans 8: 26-27,34, 37-39.

3. What does it mean to “overcome” as mentioned in Revelation 2:10-11, 3:21?

Here is what Walter Bauer’s Greek Lexicon says about the  concept of overcoming (νικῶν–nikaô The present participle implies continuous victory, “keeps on overcoming”.Through Jesus even the weakest of the weak can experience the victory of Jesus): “To have victory, to overcome someone, to vanquish them, to win in the face of obstacles, including death, and to never relinquish your firm hold”. Jacob never turned loose of Jesus, period! Even in the very face of death he held on to his Savior.

Jesus is the only one who has overcome the world John 16:33. Jesus is anxious to work out His victory inside us, if we simply refuse to give up our grip, our firm hold on Him. Jesus has overcome everything opposed to God. He is so willing to work out His victory inside of us, if we  allow Him to do so. The truth is that Jesus wants to literally live out His life in us; not simply add His power to our feeble efforts! Romans 8:3-4, 11. His life becomes our life and it’s His life that saves us!! Period!! Romans 5:10.

So to “Overcome” is to simply to hang on to Jesus and never let go even in the face of death!! And that’s it!! Period!! Praise God Jesus Is About to come!!

Never forget that Jesus died just for you and He wants you to be with Him forever!! You are His!! What Amazing Love!!

The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying:

      “ Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.  Jeremiah 31:3.

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.  Hebrews 7:25

The Sabbath is here!! Praise God!!

This is the day the LORD has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24.

The Sabbath is a sign of my relationship with Jesus! It indicates that I am giving Jesus permission to save me!!

Please Listen To This Great Pillars Music Video!

I Will Give You Rest

12 Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them.

20 hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the LORD your God.’ Ezekiel 20:12,20.

The Sabbath is made just for Us! How wonderful is that?

And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.  Mark 2:27.

The Sabbath is a delight!

12 Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
13 “ If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the LORD honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the LORD;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the LORD has spoken.”  Isaiah 58:12-14.

And Jesus is Lord of The Sabbath Too!!

And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” Mark 2:27-28.

Now if Jesus is Lord of The Sabbath, which He is, Then the Lord’s Day mentioned in,Revelation 1:10,is The Bible Sabbath!

The Sabbath is not legalism any more than not stealing from my neighbor is legalistic!

The Apostle Paul addresses the issue in Hebrews 4:3-4,10-11. Paul is simply saying I can stop trying to save myself —– Jesus will save me. The Sabbath is a symbol that Jesus  in fact saves me!! And it’s His creative Power that does just that! Praise God that I can cease from any attempt to save myself!  Romans 1:16-17,19-20.

I repeat, I can’t save myself but Jesus can!! Makes me want to jump for joy when I realize that Jesus would have died just to save me!! John 3:16-17,36.

We will celebrate God’s Sabbath in the Earth Made New!

22 “ For as the new heavens and the new earth
Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the LORD,

“ So shall your descendants and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the LORD.        Isaiah 66: 22-23.

Let me say it again,It makes me want to jump for joy when I realize that Jesus would have died to save just me!!

Shabbat Shalom–Happy Sabbath!

The Gospel Is God’s Creative Power To Save Me!!

Posted on: 4 Comments

The photos on this post were recently taken at Turtle Creek, Dallas Texas. Enjoy!

Let’s chat briefly about The Gospel of Jesus!

In this brief post are a few thoughts about how I see The Gospel of Jesus! I believe that The Gospel is in fact Jesus! I see Christ crucified for me personally. I see my Savior in the light that God loved me so much that Jesus gave Himself  for me personally! It was all for me. I hope you see Jesus as The Savior who died for you personally too!

The Gospel is The Power of God for Salvation!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17.

The Power of God  is His Creative Power!

Jesus simply spoke  and instantly the Heavens appeared ! He breathed, and right off, the starry planets came into existence!  Psalm 33:6-9, John 1:1-5, Colossians 1:16-17.

“Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.  For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse”.  Romans 1:19-20.

So It’s God’s Awesome Creative Power that saves me!   Romans 1:16-17, Psalm 33:6-9, Colossians 1:16-17.

Next, Christ is The Power of God.

“but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God”. 1 Corinthians 1:22-25.

But Salvation comes through the cross; therefore The Cross of Christ is The Power of God.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God”. 1 Corinthians 1:18.

The Apostle Paul talks about a mystery. He calls it “The Mystery of The Gospel”. And he says that the mystery has been revealed. Ephesians 6:19, 3:3,9-12

The mystery  revealed is really great news for all of us. Here it is in plain language:

“the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.  To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: whichis Christ in you, the hope of glory”. Colossians 1:26-27.

So we can be fully assured that The Gospel is Christ dwelling inside us! Colossians 1:27.

In other words The Gospel is Christ “in us”!  The preaching of The Gospel is the making known to others of the possibility of Christ dwelling in them!

What a fabulous thought that creation and redemption are the same power!! And that Christ will literally dwell inside us!Truly this is a mystery. But a mystery revealed! And It’s true because I completely trust the Word of God! Period! Ephesians 6:19, Ephesians 3:1-10.

Let me briefly sum up what has been said:

1. The Gospel is The Power of God unto Salvation. Salvation is only by The Power of God, and wherever The Power of God is, there is Salvation.

2. Christ is The Power of God.

3. But Christ’s Salvation comes through the cross; therefore the cross of Christ is The Power of God.

4. So the preaching of Christ and Him crucified is the preaching of The Gospel.

5. The Power of God is the power that creates all things. Therefore the preaching of Christ and Him crucified, as The Power of God, is the preaching of the creative power of of God put forth for the Salvation of you and me!! Praise God!!

6. This is so, because Christ is the Creator of all things.  Colossians 1: 16-17.

7. The mystery of The Gospel is God manifest in human flesh through the Person of Jesus Christ! So Christ dwelling inside me by faith is all of the fullness of God inside me!! Hallelujah Praise The Lord!

8. This means nothing less than the creative energy in God working in me through Jesus Christ, for my Salvation. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

9. Now that Jesus is in you the hope of glory, He will simply work out His victory in you! Colossians 1:26-27. Romans 8:3-4, 11.

It’s all about Jesus and He wants you to be with Him Always!!

The preaching of the everlasting Gospel is the preaching of Christ the creative power of God, through whom alone salvation can come.  And the power by which Christ saves men from sin in the power by which He created the worlds.  We have redemption through His blood; the preaching of the cross is the preaching of the power of God; and the power of God is the power that creates; therefore the cross of Christ has in it creative power.  Surely that is power enough for anybody.  No wonder that the apostle exclaimed,  “But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ”.  Galatians. 6:14.

So what must I do to have assurance of Salvation?

Simply accept the free gift of eternal life by faith in Jesus! John 3:16-17Romans 3:26, Ephesians 2: 8-10.

In other words, you have complete assurance of Salvation when you trust Jesus with your life! And that’s it! 1 John 5:11-13.

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31.

I hope you enjoyed a bit of Spring from Dallas, TX!

4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us…    Titus 3:3-8.

Until next time may we allow God’s great love and kindness to save us!!

“No Condemnation”! A Brief Look At Romans 8:1-11

Posted on: No Comments

I am involved with a Small Bible Study Group  studying the book of Romans. It is really a great spiritual experience for sure!

Many theologians believe that Romans chapter 8 is the very center piece of the New Testament and some further proclaim that it’s the center piece of the entire Bible. I do know it’s a wonderful chapter filled with Righteousness by Faith in Jesus alone!! Paul clearly states The way to Salvation in dynamic terms!

The following are Salvation markers that Paul succinctly makes in Romans 8:1-11. I would appreciate your opinions very much! Please leave those  comments at the end of this post. Thanks!!

Let’s start in  Romans 8:12 with “Therefore” which is a direct link to Romans 8:1-11. Apparently Paul wants us to comprehend these verses.  So why is that? Here is a brief look at that question.

1. The believers are no longer under condemnation. Romans 8:1

2. The believers have been set free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2

3. The believers are no longer under sin’s dominion. Romans 8:2.

4. Jesus fulfills the righteous requirement of the law inside us  through the Spirit.                             Romans 8:3-4

5. The believers walk by the Spirit. Romans 8:4.

6. The believers set their minds on the Spirit. Romans 8:5.

7. The believers have life and peace through the Spirit. Romans 8:6.

8. God’s Spirit dwells inside the believers. Romans 8:9,11.

9. The believers spirits have been made alive. Romans 8:10.

10. The resurrection of the believers’ bodies is guaranteed. Romans 8:11.

So there you have it. The one concept that leaps at me is The Holy Spirit. Just how important is it that we are Baptized with The Holy Spirit?  Seems to me its everything, since it’s through The Holy Spirit, that we have  the very presence of Jesus dwelling inside us.  All we need to do is ask!! And when we do ask the promise of Jesus is Extremely Plain! He will freely give us The Spirit !!  Luke 11:9-13.

We will discuss more about The Baptism of The Holy Spirit in future postings.

Why not start a Small Bible Study Group of your own? You will be amazed how much it will help you draw closer to Jesus!! See Hebrews 10:22-25.

God Is The Subject Of The Seventh Day

Posted on: 2 Comments

Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work, which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work, which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work, which God had created and made.  Genesis 2:1-3

God is the obvious primary subject of the seventh day. If we speak of the lost meaning of the seventh day, that the meaning of the seventh day is now non-existent, then we are really speaking of the meaning that has been lost concerning God!

In the context of the creation, God’s rest is a ceasing from creative activity so He could be with His creation, Adam and Eve. This desire for loving fellowship is God’s purpose for creation. 1John 1:3, Colossians 1:16 The rest on the seventh day plainly defines God’s Love!  The rest on the seventh day is plainly a relational marker. Exodus 31:13,16-17, Ezekiel 20:12,20.

The reason why God refrains from further activity on the seventh day, therefore, is that He has found the object of His love and has no need for any further works! What a staggering thought! Praise God for His everlasting love! Jeremiah 31:3, Isaiah 43:1,4,6-7.

So God ceases from working in order to enjoy the company of the person God created, suggesting that the seventh day speaks as much about the value of human beings to God as of God’s valuation of human life!

The God of the seventh day is a near and present God, a person who is committed to Creation and One who is involved in Creation up close and personal. How awesome is that!!

So how do I enter God’s rest?

We enter God’s rest by believing fully in Jesus! Hebrews 4:3.

We enter His rest when we consider Jesus Hebrews 3:1

We enter His rest when we listen to His voice Hebrews 3:7,15,4:7

We enter His rest when we cease completely from our own efforts to earn Salvation Hebrews 4:10.

God’s True Rest Is The Only Rest That Matters!!

Do you have assurance of Salvation this very minute? Or to put it another way: Are you saved right now?

You can have full assurance of your Salvation this very moment!! 1John 5:11-13, Romans 10:9, Jeremiah 31:3

He will blot out your sins(Isaiah 43:25), and save you by His life(Romans 5:10),Making you just like Jesus. 1John 3:2. He is everything to us!  1Corinthians 1:29-31. And Jesus wants to be with you ALWAYS!!!! John 3:16,17, 2Peter 3:9, 1John 4:8,16.

We have the “assurance” of salvation when we “trust” Jesus with our lives, that’s it. Once we trust Jesus, He, our great Heavenly Physician, will perfectly heal and restore us, thus our assurance is in Jesus, not in our future or ourselves. It is just that simple!! John 17:3

Thanks to Sigev K. Tonstad,   And  “Courtesy Come And Reason Ministries”

We have the “assurance” of salvation when we “trust” Jesus with our lives, that’s it.  Once we trust Jesus, He, our great Heavenly Physician, will perfectly heal and restore us, thus our assurance is in Jesus, not in ourselves or our future.
